Step Back in Time The "Fly" behind the Audubon Zoo, 6500 Magazine St. The Society for Creative Anachronism Inc. invites all to watch and participate in a demonstration of medieval lifestyles, noon. Members of the SCA attempt to re-create pre-17th-century life, and activities will include heavy combat in full armor, sewing, cooking, dancing and more. 24th annual Elmwood Classic Elmwood Center, 1200 S. Clearview Parkway, Harahan. 10K, 5K and half-mile races take place, 8 a.m. (registration, at 7 a.m.) to benefit the Harahan Rotary Club's scholarship fund.
