Sienna Miller has sparked speculation she's ready to get really serious with former fiance Jude Law again -- she's reportedly wearing the engagement ring he bought her.

Friends insist she's wearing the gem as jewelry and not on her wedding finger, but it's clear she likes the look of it.

She and Law called off their engagement in 2006 after the actor came clean about his affair with his children's nanny, but they've recently reconciled.

A friend of the couple tells Life & Style magazine, "She wore it (ring) for fun, probably as jewelry, but she wore it with close friends, and everyone saw it. There's no denying it.

"They're not engaged, but I wouldn't be surprised if she and Jude go all the way. She's very happy."

does anyone know how much an engagement ring woul cost with rare gemstones and little diamonds around it with white gold band? or does anyone know my best bet for a gemstone for under 2000 dollars?

What do you mean by 'rare' gemstones........there are many colored gemstones used in jewelry today-your best bet is the check out the jewelry stores in your area just for availability & price. Also, HSN & QVC offer unusual gemstones....check it out just to get an idea of wht's out there and if you see a stone you like, then research it before deciding.

One website you can try is Jewels For Me...here again, just to see what's out there.( Besides the site is fun as you can 'design' a ring)

Some 'rare' or unusual gemstones that many people are not familiar with are tanzanite, iolite, morganite, prasiolite, chrome diopside, ametrine,aventurine....also, garnets come in ALL colors except blue, some of the green ones (tsavorite) rival emeralds in color saturation....sapphires come in all colors AND blue, including the famous star sapphires (really cool gemstones-I knew a gal who had a blue star sapphire as her engagement stone)

HSN & QVC feature many of these exotic stones with videos of the rings they are set in.....this may be a quick way just to get an idea of what you may like...and it's fun to check out the 'sparklies'. It also will show you the many types of stone shapes & cuts that are available.

Once you know what kind of rare gemstone you like, then start looking.....now I have bought gem stones via the internet and so far I've done well but your engagement ring is a very special investment so I would in this case inspect the actual stone/ring in person before you purchase.

Without cost being an issue...who prefers gemstone engagement rings and why?

I've always preferred colored stones. They've always caught my eye and seem so much more exotic and royal. It saddens me that this country has been so easily brainwashed by the Debeers marketing manipulation. Who else sees the beauty in them?

I like the look of diamonds and they catch my eye quicker than other gems. I know that many people won't agree but to me the colour (or lack there of) is extremely elegant and I love how it looks. I have other pieces of jewellery with other gemstones and they're nice but I don't think that that can compare to, for instance, my mother's diamond engagement ring. Other clear gems are lovely too but I've yet to see one that matches the sparkle of a diamond.

I am looking for something different! I love the gemstone engagement rings with small diamonds around it, but it seems most of the jewelery stores don't have rings like this. You have to order them or come on certain showcase days. Does anyone know of a store that carries rings like this?
