Cheryl Cole flies to Los Angeles for break minus shamed husband Ashley.. and her wedding ring

SEETHING Cheryl Cole was without her wedding ring again yesterday as she lef t her footballer husband in the doghouse and flew to LA.
And in case anyone failed to notice the absence of her £160,000 sparkler, she replaced it with the biggest piece of bling she could find in her jewel box.
Cheryl arrived close to tears in LA last night flanked by two bodyguards. She looked traumatised as dozens of waiting photographers swooped on her.
Cheryl, enraged over claims that Chelsea star Ashley cheated on her with a secretary, also left her wedding rings at home when she sang at Tuesday night's Brit awards.
The Girls Aloud star is in California for a week of writing and recording.
The 26-year-old pointedly refused to cancel the trip despite her marriage troubles.
And she seemed perfectly happy to be leaving Ashley, 29, several thousand miles away.
The England left-back, banned from the Brits by his angry wife, has been accused of bedding the secretary in Chelsea's team hotel before games.
He is also said to have used his phone to send pictures of his private parts to another girl who works as a glamour model.
Ashley is nursing a broken ankle at the Surrey mansion he shares with his wife and pundits fear his injury could keep him out of this summer's World Cup.
A spokesman for Cheryl said: "This trip was scheduled last month. She is away for a week. We have no further comment."
